We’ve been running this blog for nearly four months and we’ve been trying differnet things to get people involved and for people to enjoy this blog. So…it’s question time! 

-What would you like to see on this blog? 

-Do you guys like it when we post Jon’s twitpics?

-How about when we reblog from his tumblr, The Youngest Walker?

-How about pictures from when we go see him at shows?

-What would you like to see more of that we’re already blogging?

-What sort of contests would you like to do, if any?

-Would it be creepy to go through Jon’s tag and reblog photos of people with Jon, or of him playing live? 

-How do you think we should get more people to submit things to the blog?

With how busy us mods are, this street team is still our baby and we want to keep on improving it

So, if you would like to answer any/all of these questions, then just shoot a message! It would help us out a lot. 

(Try not to be rude though. We want constructive feedback, so don’t be an asshat.)

Nothing too huge since we’re still kind of leery doing contests after the last one failed terribly. Basically, just draw some Jon fanart with some sort of Halloween theme to it. Any sort of medium you would like. *Photo manipulations are allowed, but photos that are just pulled from the internet and have a texture/color filter layered over it are not. We would like to keep this to original artwork and creative!

This contest will only last until the 5th of November since we’re doing this late and we don’t want it to end too far after Halloween. 

The winner (one winner) will be chosen by the mods and will receive a promotion of their blog on this blog, as well as a few www.jonwalkermusic.com stickers if the winner would like (we have plenty of them). 

To submit, just go to the our blog and submit to the “Do you have photos/videos/art/etc of Jon?” button.

Because of the last contest, if we do not have at least five people submit fanart, then the contest will be canceled. But that does not mean that you cannot still submit fanart, we will post it on the blog never the less!

We have been mentioning a lot how we would be doing a contest and it’s finally time! You have a chance to win a Beast Friends Forever Poster, signed by the man himself as well as his beast friends Mark Rose and Lucas Carpenter! 

As you know, a street team is put together to help get the word out about an artist, in other words, promotion. So, we thought, what better for a first contest than to find the most creative way to promote Jon? With this being said, here’s what you do!

1. Reblog this post so we can get as many people to see it and get involved!
2. Come up with the most creative idea that you can to get Jon’s name out there!
3. Go out and do it! (Make sure to put Jon’s website/twitter or anything to promote him in)
4. Send us pictures of your work in action!

The reason we’re asking for pictures is to not only to see your ideas come to life, but to actually get some street team work done. So, don’t only consider this our first contest, but also our first mission for all you street teamers! 

Also, in the end we will make up a page of all of your submissions so we can keep it as a reference page for ideas. 

Now for the “rules”…

1. Please keep your ideas legal, we know Jon didn’t really get arrested and we don’t want you to either…
2. You don’t have to follow us, but why wouldn’t you if you love Jon?
3. You can submit as many ideas as you want as long as they’re creative! (They will be judged as different entries)

Make sure if you are promoting in a public place, you have permission to do so if needed! 

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A POSTER: Don’t worry! You can still participate! If you already happen to have a poster from the tour, we will work out another prize for you and we’ll figure it out! 

Contest ends August 20th! How many submissions we get will depend on how long we take to post the winner.

Okay, as far as the Jon stuff.  At the moment we have our first contest in the works! We talked to Jon about it on Monday, but we’re waiting for a confirmation confirmation just so we don’t promise something to you guys and it doesn’t happen. 

BUT CONTEST SOON SO GET EXCITED!!!

I’m not sure why it took so long~ Really, do you have any pictures that you’ve taken of Jon?  Do you have a picture of you meeting Jon?? (I know they exist, we’ve been on Jon’s tag) Then go ahead and submit it and we’ll publish it here! This is a community where we all can share our love for the man and his music so of course we can share pictures we have of him and discuss or luff over. 

We apologize, this is not a very well structured post, but you guys get the point!!

If you are (you know, Chicago, Illinois suburbs, NWI, etc) then like this post! We may have a mission coming up for you and we want to see who may be able to help us!
